Golden Victory: Neeraj Chopra Triumphs with Gold in Men’s Javelin Throw at World Athletics Championships
In a remarkable moment for Indian sports, Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in the men’s javelin throw event at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. This achievement made him the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal in this prestigious championship.

Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan secured the second position with a throw of 87.82m.
Finishing third on the podium was Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic, who showed his prowess with a best throw of 86.67m.
Neeraj’s father, Satish Kumar expressed pride saying, “It is a very proud moment for our country as we have won the gold medal in the World Championship. We will celebrate when Neeraj returns to India.”
