Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation for essential infrastructure projects worth approximately 500 billion rupees in the fields of healthcare, education, railways, and medicine in Rajasthan. PM Modi commended the recent G20 Summit held in Jodhpur, which garnered global acclaim.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted the significant increase in Rajasthan’s annual budget, which now stands at 9,500 crore rupees, marking a 14% from the previous government’s budget.

Modernizing Railway Stations

Under the “Amrit Bharat Station” scheme, over 80 railway stations, including Jodhpur Railway Station, are set to undergo modernization. This initiative aims to enhance passenger experiences and bring these stations up to contemporary standards. He also emphasized the substantial progress in electrifying more than 3,000 kilometers of railway lines since 2014, compared to 2014 only 614 kilometers before that year.

Advancing Healthcare through Ayushman Bharat

PM Modi underlined the expansion of critical healthcare services under the Ayushman Bharat scheme in AIIMS Jodhpur. Trauma care, emergency services, and critical care facilities will receive advanced upgrades, significantly improving the healthcare infrastructure in the region. Moreover, district hospital will see improvement in critical care services as well.
